• i've had his BUBBLE for a while now, but i only started this account on october 8 2020, so all updates are from then onwards

• i speak korean, and all korean transaltion are by me. kindly repost with credit
• as stated multiple times on my account- i do not speak either cantonese or mandarin & will seek help for his chinese BUBBLES. if you speak it, feel free to contribute via DMs, i'll credit you!
• i always try to update as soon as he sends his BUBBLES. i may be a little late with updates, as i try to understand the context and translate his BUBBLES myself, and also mostly because- i always reply to him first before updating on the account
• seldom, i'll add some of my texts or some T/N (translator's notes) as well, only to add context

••BUBBLE FAQ••

1) WHAT IS BUBBLE?

• SM entertainment has this app called LYSN. it is a regular messaging app like WeChat, WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, Line etc that you may use to chat with friends. but LYSN also comes with a special feature called BUBBLE. it is a paid monthly subscription, where you can text any of your favourite artist(s) under SM

2) HOW TO GET BUBBLE?

• if you choose to get BUBBLE, you go to the BUBBLE tab on LYSN and pay for a "ticket". you then use the ticket to subscribe to an artist of your choice, after which you can exchange texts with them
• you can use one ticket only for one artist. if you wish to subscribe to more artists, you need to buy more tickets. you may subscribe to members of the same group, or entirely different groups. the selection is totally up to you
• tickets expire after 30 days from subscribing, after which you will stop receiving BUBBLES. all your messages will still be there, you'll just stop receiving anymore BUBBLES
• if you choose to re-subscribe, let's say, after 15 days, you'll start receiving BUBBLES again. you'll just miss those 15 days worth of BUBBLES from when your subscription was expired

3) HOW DOES BUBBLE WORK?

• BUBBLE is designed in such a way that to us subscribers it looks like one-on-one DMs, but to the artist it is like giant group chat

• when you're subscribed to an artist, for you it will be like sending DMs to each other, as seen from the screenshots i post
• you are allowed only 3 text message replies, after which you have to wait for the idol's next message before you can send any more messages. this is done to prevent spamming
• the character limit of the message will increase as time passes. fans who are subscribed for longer have a larger character limit

• as for the idol, they'll be able to send as many messages as they like- texts, audio, video, gifs
• idols will also be able to read all the messages, questions, suggestions and requests from all their fans. they can even choose to reply to some. but whenever they text- everyone will receive the same text
• idols cannot send private messages to anyone. they'll just be replying to their group chat
• anything they send will go to the fans as DMs - like as if they're sending "broadcast messages"
• it's is like a group chat only to the idol, so other subscribers won't be able to see the texts you send

4) HOW WILL I KNOW IF THE IDOL HAS READ MY TEXT(S)?

• you will see the number "1" beside your message whenever you send it. when that number disappears- it means they've "seen" your text. if the number is still there, they haven't "seen" the text yet
• the number will also automatically disappear when they send their next BUBBLE message, irrespective of whether they've actually "seen" your text or not
• it is like a group chat for the idols, not like individual DMs. so if they have "seen" your text, they have "seen" everyone's text
• (they do read our messages and even reply back sometimes! check question 5)

5) HOW WILL I KNOW IF THE IDOL REPLIED TO MY TEXT?

• let's say, i send a text saying, "HAVE YOU WATCHED ANY MOVIES RECENTLY?", and they decide to reply to my question with, "I WATCHED XX MOVIE YESTERDAY". and then i ask, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW? DID YOU EAT?" and they reply to my question saying, "I AM EATING RIGHT NOW"
• to everyone else his BUBBLES will look random, "I WATCHED XX MOVIE YESTERDAY", "I AM EATING RIGHT NOW", but like one can argue those were actually replies to my questions, because they don't really say that everyday
• this is just a random example

• but i have seen it happen to many people. and i'm sure that, this has happens to everyone with BUBBLE at least once. i mean- idols have to reply to/answer someone at least, to update something or keep the conversation going

• i have experienced it myself too. i do think that yukhei has replied to me at least a few times - hit me up for examples, and i'll show you my texts where i't's most likely that he has replied to my questions. you be the judge, i don't mind

• well, no one can ever be 100% sure if the idol has actually replied to you, because there is no real way to know unless they tell you themselves. but it maybe highly likely that they might have (depending on both your texts, obviously)
• sometimes it is obvious that they must be answering someone's question. the nature of their texts will usually give it away
• but to others, it may seem like random texts
• remember everyone still receives the same messages from them, irrespective of who they are replying to

6) I CAN NOT SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE. CAN I STILL USE BUBBLE?

• yes!
• BUBBLE has an in-built translator. you may choose to set it to your preferred language. their texts will be translated to your language, and yours will be translated to theirs!
• as long as you use simple sentences, and no slangs or abbreviated forms, the translator will work without any glitches!
• the translator will glitch if the sentences have too many clauses or are too complex

7) WILL ADMIN GET BUBBLES FOR OTHER MEMBERS SOMEDAY?

• as soon as i stop being a broke ass bitch (；•_• )

8) DOES ADMIN RECOMMEND GETTING BUBBLE?

• i'll just say one thing: the sheer boost of serotonin you get when you realize they read your message and/or answered back to you is worth every penny!!
• there are also times they ask for hair color/style recommendations for comebacks, or movie/series recommendations! so you can contribute to that too!
